School Rules & Regulations – KV Public School

To maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive learning atmosphere, all students are expected to follow the rules and guidelines mentioned below:

General Discipline

• Students must show respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
• Any form of misbehavior, bullying, or use of inappropriate language is strictly prohibited.
• Students must take care of school property. Any damage will lead to disciplinary action and penalty.

Attendance & Punctuality

• Regular attendance and punctuality are compulsory for all students.
• A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for examinations.
• Leave should be taken with prior permission. In case of illness, a written note from parents is required.

Uniform & Personal Grooming

• Students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly on all school days.
• Hair should be tidy, nails trimmed, and no fancy accessories are allowed.
• Wearing the school ID card daily is mandatory.

Academic Responsibility

• Students must complete all assignments and homework on time.
• Books and necessary materials should be brought according to the timetable.
• Use of unfair means during examinations is strictly forbidden.

Use of Mobile Phones

• Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not allowed in the school.
• If found, they will be confiscated and handed over to parents after necessary action.

Library & Laboratory

• Students must maintain silence and discipline in the library.
• Library books should be handled carefully and returned on time.
• Laboratory equipment must be used responsibly under teacher supervision.

Transport Guidelines

• Students using school transport must follow all instructions given by staff.
• Indiscipline in the school bus may lead to suspension of transport services.

Disciplinary Measures

• Violation of rules may result in warning, suspension, or expulsion based on severity.
• Parents will be informed in case of serious misconduct.

Instructions for Parents

• Parents are advised to regularly check school updates and student diaries.
• Participation in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) is important.
• Parents should guide their children to follow school rules and maintain discipline.
